I found the door at the dump! FREE! It's solid pine and all it needs is a good sanding and paint or stain. Unfortunately, it's about 4" wider than the door that I would love to put it on so now I don't really know what to do with it!
On our way home, I noticed an antique store. Any antique store in NJ is usually way overpriced but I stopped anyway. I found this wood dresser on legs (which I love in furniture) and little casters. It was $70 and is ready for some new paint and new knobs!
Love that door. If you have any outdoor living area, you could paint/seal it and use it to add some shape and height to the area, or you could use it as a table top...Or it might be neat to add some shallow gutter guards to one side and plant herbs/flowers, and lean it up or frame it so it stands alone.
Awesome finds! You could use Krylon looking glass spray paint on the windows instead of replacing with mirrors. It'll probably much cheaper. I did this with an old window and it turned out great.
Love that dresser! How do you plan to refinish it?
I'm not sure yet. It currently has a very thick coat of stain on it. I kind of envision sanding and painting it a light green or blue or even yellow and adding glass knobs.
Can you widen the opening? DH and I learned a HARD lesson once about attempting to replace just a door. It is much easier to remove the old door and frame and install the new door/frame as a set. If you were going to use that door, I'd remove the old door and frame and then attach the door to a new frame, and then install it. And if you're doing that, you could widen the opening unless there is some reason you couldn't (brick surround, placement of doorway, etc).

We won't be able to widen it because the left side butts right up against our stove and the right side is at the exterior wall of the enclosed porch that the door opens to.
I think that i'm either going to turn it into a desk or hang it horizontally and put matted photos in it. Not sure yet.
