Why is it...?

...that ever since H and I decided on an actual timeline for beginning to TTC, I've been convinced that I'm already pregnant?

I've actually gained about 5 pounds (of holiday bad eating!) in the last few weeks and I've been extra grouchy/stressed/moody.. so of course that means I'm pregnant, right? LOL.. Stupid head.. wishful thinking, I know!!

Anyone else's brain work this way?

I think everyone's brain works this way when they're TTC. I've been TTC for 4 years, and just started back on BC last cycle, and my brain still tries to convince me that I could somehow magically be KU. It's completely annoying. Luckily I don't put too much stock in what my brain thinks, since I know it's virtually impossible to be pregnant right now.

Try to find something else to obsess over. It's hard, but the time will fly by.

Did I breach a board custom/rule by bringing this up? I know all about newbies being dumb from other communities I've been a part of and I'm really not trying to be that person.

I honestly thought this was the place to post about my brain being so stupidly focused on this kind of stuff.

I'm totally aware that it's stupid that my head is even going there... We're not at all trying at this point yet, so the chances are super slim and my brain is dumbdumbdumb.

I've just been ridiculously "oooobabies!!!" for the last few weeks when I've NEVER been that girl before, EVER! It's weird.

No worries. We get a little cranky sometimes, don't let that scare you off. It's more the drive by, come and go posters who have no idea about anything that annoy us. We just like to get to know you a little before we start getting up in your ute's business.
