"Let's make it our goal to to get you to 34 weeks."
I told him he could have whatever goal he wanted, but I'm keeping my goal 40 weeks - because I'm nowhere near ready.
I started having blood pressure issues during my last round of fertility treatments, so the doctor put me on meds to help control it. My blood pressure has been slowly creeping up and when they did a 24 hour urine catch a couple of weeks ago my protein count was "on the upper range of normal". They're having me a do another one, and suspect there will be more (nothing like a jug in the bathroom) but OB is concerned that there will be a spike between now and an my due date. So he's worried about pre-eclampsia.
Best wishes that you are able to keep baby in until 40 weeks. I hope everything works out the way you would like it to. I have a friend who had pre-clampsia with both of her children and know what all she went through. I hope and pray that things go more smoothly for you.

I hope he's wrong too.
You aren't allowed to get pre-eclampsia. It wouldn't be fair. You've had your fair share of issues already. I hope you can go on to the completely uneventful full term pregnancy you deserve.

OMG, this. 40 weeks, and may the remaining few be without pre-eclampsia or any other issue.
