I'm really surprised this is still intact, ya know? It's in a house in a young, trendy neighborhood. I guess an original owner just moved out. So strange to me that they knew enough to put in SS appliances and a new light, but not to get rid of the curtains and wallpaper. It has, not surprisingly, been on the market for a very long time.

Our entire house looked like this when I was a kid. A true blast from my past. That used to be my mom's favorite shade of blue. Yick.

LOL. My MILs house still looks like that.
They built in the mid-80s and she couldn't careless about decor. They've upgraded appliances and stuff like that, but curtains, artwork, lamps and light fixtures never cross her radar of stuff to update.
It's still in brand new perfect shape too. My MIL is an avg. housekeeper on the day to day stuff but when it comes to deep clean wash the curtains, shampoo the carpets she's amazing.
So yes, definite flashback for me too..but I totally understand how they can still be in great shape.

My parents house use to have wall to wall carpet in that exact color. Our neighbors went with a dusty rose for their carpet.

It looks like my grandma's house. There is also a bathroom off of the kitchen complete with a big blue whirlpool tub.
