Sent out a notice that there has been a rash of home invasions/robberies during the daytime and nighttime, even while the homeowners are home. So, they asked anyone interested to pass on their cell phone and email so we have a quick way to notify everyone of updates.
They are in my specific neighborhood, which is not connected to any others. And, we don't have cut-through access to anywhere else. So, if you're coming in here, you're coming in here for a reason (unless you're lost).
My HOA sent out a similar letter this past winter. I called the non police line for details on the crimes; they told me. Perhaps you could do the same? My HOA had a meeting about it an told everyone to be extra vigilant and lock their doors and leave outside lights on at night, even though they were daytime crimes. The police stepped up their patrols in the neighborhood for a few weeks and I haven't heard of anymore issues.
Sorry, that's a real crappy feeling to not be safe in your own area
