Cheap Rental Cars

What company do you use for rental cars? Or what site/where do you book cheap rental cars?

We need a rental for the 6 days we will be in Vegas before we leave for Cairo. But we are on a super limited budget. We have used Priceline before to name your own price, but we just noticed how ridiculously high their fees are......that we never noticed before. And now I am just annoyed with them. Also, when we did that before, we were given a car through Hertz, and I didn't like them. They had terrible customer service and I am kind of a stickler about that.

If you're particular about companies then I wouldn't use Priceline or Hotwire.

You might want to page Sara and sfgirl because they've both used to Costco car rental and seemed to have good luck with it.

i was just going to mention that you should look into costcotravel.com for car rental. it seems like a killer deal. i've not actually ever rented a car, but will be in the next couple months... i'm going through them.

Before I turned 25 we always used Avis because our corporate policy gives us a discount and waives under-25 driver fees.

Now that I am, we'll probably check out Costco next time .

I've always liked Enterprise, though their customer service on the phones isn't super awesome, once you're in an office or actually getting your car, you're good.
