My fracture is in my 2or3 metatarsal . Tuesday is my last day in a walking boot!!! It has been 6 weeks since I was put in it. The doctor said I could start back slowly but was really vague as to what slowly is. I have done nothing but swim for the past 6 weeks. I was even off of work so no walking around.
A lot of you mentioned re injuring yours or having a hard time healing. I really want to avoid that. I was thinking of starting back with just cycling for 2 more weeks then trying to start running again.....slowly. I've pretty much given up on this season although I have a sprint tri in august.
I'm just really worried this will happen again. I did find this article an was wondering what you thought as a schedule.
