Any randoms for this lovely Wednesday?

Our dir. of BPI is leaving, her last day is the 28th. I'm going to miss her.

We had a new dir. of HR for like, um, 4 days. Currently, we have no actual HR dept.

You all need to get a job, here, with me.

We have a leak/flood in our apartment. #sogladwerent
I hate walking on the carpet that is all mushy from the leak, but I haven't had time to clean the carpet in a while (read:ever), so I am kind of hoping it ruins the carpet so we might get new carpet.

I'm all gooey and emotional now that we're married. Like, I start thinking about how much he loves me and then my eyes start leaking a little.

In less than a month I will run in the Disney Marathon (which I have dedicated so much of my time to train for) and I will be getting breast implants. We have been TTA for a few months now so I can participate in the marathon and get my new boobs.

Two nights ago we had an "oops" and it was the best time of my cycle to conceive a baby. Now I am all worried like a 16 year old HS girl I am knocked up.

Don't get me wrong, I would gladly welcome a BFP I was just hoping it would be a few months down the road. But to help snap me back to reality my H said "you don't honestly think you got pregnant? Umm, you are not the most fertile thing out there." Ha. Thanks fucker.

Anyway, no I don't really think I am pregnant but it's just weird that now I am hoping for a BFN. LOL. Although, it would be my luck that I would be

I think even if you had a BFP, it mess up the boobs, but I think you could still run. (says I...the most exercise I got during my pregnancy was walking around the zoo at about 16 weeks.)

At least you might have temp boobs, then, too. I my boobs did NOTHING when I was pregnant. Except sit there and mock me.

I took a half day today. I really only.needed to take off 30 min early but I took half the day instead. It feels nice! However, I had to leave early bc of my mom has an appointment with the surgeon today. Fingers crossed for good news!

My monkey just fell and bit her tongue. She never cries when she falls so I couldn't figure out why until I saw the blood. Little sweety. <3

Ha! Actually my boobs got pretty big when I was pregnant......if only they stayed that way

As for the running thing - I think I would opt out of the race. I am sure I would be ok, but considering how things have not always gone so well for me I would take the extra precaution and not run. Twice now I have felt like death after a 20 mile run so that's my indicator that I shouldn't run, LOL

Yes, I sort of did, too. I have a little tiny cold and I wanted to sleep in today. So I called my boss and told him I would be late because of the leak. I slept in until 7:30A.

I want to put pickled jalapeños or banana peppers on everything lately.

Maisy has a little abrasion and a slight black eye from her brother playing too rough and knocking her into the ottoman yesterday. Today she pulled a barstool on top of herself with me 2 steps too far away to grab it and gave herself a huge goose egg on her forehead right over over the shiner and abrasion. She has forgotten all about it, but it breaks my heart every time I look at my sweet girl all banged up.

There was a snake in my house this week. In my house. It was only a baby black racer, but still!

I was going to make a cheesecake for our holiday party today ay work but decided to buy a cake at the store instead. Now I'm glad I didn't waste three hours and $40 making a cheesecake because there were so many desserts at the party that only one piece of the cake I brought was eaten.

I am not in the Christmas spirit this year ... at all. I don't have a tree up, I don't have any decorations up. I just can't get "into" it and I hate that I feel that way.

I felt like that last year. A was scheduled for 12/27. I was uncomfortable, preoccupied and scared to death. We told all our family we were doing zero gifts and H put up a tree at the last minute while I sat around and wallowed in heartburn. Don't feel bad. I'm willing to bet you'll be feeling the holiday next year, and if not that's fine too.

The president of our company, who actually became a good friend of mine and is a professional mentor of mine, called me tonight and told me he is leaving our company. A short while later my boss called me to play damage control so I won't leave. Our prez doesn't have a new job lined up which makes me think things are a mess at work. Awesome. Can't wait to go back to the jungle next week.

1. My mom's cancer in non invasive and she only needs the lump removed, not the whole breast!

2. I received complements from the principle today! It always feels good to know when someone notices the good stuff you are doing!

One of my first major crushes, way back in the day, was on a metal head that had long hair and wore GNR and Poison t-shirts to school every day. I didn't have a CD player then, so my uncle bought me the cassette tape for either my birthday or Christmas - so I could "talk" to my crush about music

Omg funny! The crushes were something else at that age. I used to hang out at the park outside my crushes house every day until dark hoping to catch a glimpse of him walking in or out. My brother was the metal guy but he didn't have long hair, it was a mullet all the way. He graduated in 89 so there were lots of mullets. I think my dad got me that cd so my brother could play with it too, but it was still totally cool.
