I use the same that we used for us. I don't understand washing the baby's clothes separately in a specific detergent. If you child has an allergy with as much as they are being held against your clothes, you would need to wash all of your clothes in the hypoallergenic detergent.
To clarify I am not against switching detergents for all of us. I will probably wash the clothes together.
We use All Free and Clear for DD. I thought I'd wash all our stuff together too, but it is a pain in the ass to pull tiny baby socks, etc out of pant or arm legs, so I do do hers seperately.
LOL I when she was small...and even still now...I wash her socks in a lingerie bag so that I dont lose them.
I use ecos free and clear because I bought a shit ton of it last year when amazon had a deal. I'm about a load from being out and I plan to buy whatever free and clear is on sale from now on. Eta I once washed dd's stuff in tide and she had a major rash, so we're a f&c family for now.

and it is not MM to have the appliance repair people come fish baby socks blocking your washing machine drain.

Currently, we use All Free & Clear on everything. If I recall from another post, you are going to be CDing? If so, I'd go ahead and just use that Charlie's or the regular powder Tide since they're CD safe.
