I'm using the snowflake method. It's the only way I think I'll stick to writing this book. I've never done NaNo before, but I've attempted stories and novels before and I've always gotten stuck on what happens after the first few pages.
I want to. I just need to find the time before Thursday. I've heard of the snowflake method, but don't know what it is. I saved the link above, so thanks for that. I am actually skimming Writing a Young Adult Novel for Dummies and there are some exercises in there that I have tabbed and I would like to do before Thursday too.
Nope, I usually have a very bare-bones idea of what will happen, and then just start writing and see what develops. For my idea for this year, I have a little backstory on my MC, and a few locations where I want stuff to happen, but other than that I have no idea how it will turn out!

Ooh, I'm pumped to try the snowflake method. I essentially used a version of that for my dissertation, and it was a great way to keep track of what the hell was going on!
