Losing my hair--normal? Updated w/ PIP

I remember after DD was born I went through a period around this time when I lost some hair so I know some hair loss may be normal for me. This time I'm losing hair but it's large clumps of hair. I have a ton of hair so losing so much isn't noticeable, but I'm starting to think it may be an indication that something is wrong. I'll obviously talk to my doctor about this but right now I'm not scheduled to see her for 3 more weeks so I figured I'd see what the experience is with you all.

I am too. It's annoying but I think it's normal.

Also, do you have long hair? My hair stylist told me recently that long haired ladies should expect to "shed" a bit around this time of year.

It sounds normal to me. I had a lot of hair loss around 4 months pp.

Could be a thyroid issue if it's enough that it's worrying you.

I had a ton of hair loss between 4-6 months. It's finally slowing down.

I thought mine was normal but turned out I did have a thyroid issue. I had all the other symptoms too (lack of weight loss, fatigue, cold all the time, etc). How do you feel otherwise?

I'm losing my hair in small clumps but this is normal pp behavior for me. Could be just pp fun or something else, I'd wait a bit to see if any other symptoms develop then get it checked out.

I lost big clumps after this last pregnancy. It was really bad from 3-6 months. I remember having to warn my hairdresser ahead of time.

OK good. I'm not really having any other signs. A bit of fatigue, likely due to the burden of 2 under 2. No weight loss, unfortunately.

I peaked prob last week, so 5 months PP. it was a lot of hair, too!

Ok so here's a picture of the hair from yesterdays shower and todays shower. this is just what I got in my hands. Still ok? I have a ton if hair so you can't really tell, it just seems like so much!

I lost a ton of hair. It seems to have gotten better since I have stopped nursing. DD is also 5 months so it could just be the timing too.

Looks normal to me. I was concerned I was going to be bald, but I lost maybe 1-2 hairs a day from 7 months on so I figured it was just shedding what needed to be shed. That picture looked like a typical 2 day period for me.

How long is your hair. The length of it seems to make it took like more.
