Friday I went to my OB's office for my weekly appointment and NST. The baby was not very responsive on NST, which is pretty typical, so they had me do a BPP. Again, typical. But while doing the BPP the baby only scored 6/10. My OB said that 4/10= immediate induction, and 6/10 means I had to have another NST in 24 hours. So yesterday morning I went to labor and delivery for another NST. The baby kept moving away from the monitor, and going off the scan. Between going off and coming on, I had a small contraction, and it showed the heart rate going down during that time. (I don't know how accurate it was really, bc he had been off the monitor so much) The on call dr. Came in and said that bc of that drop, I had to have a c section that day, or stay at the hospital, on monitors, until I delivered the baby. I told them I did not want a c section, and wanted to speak with my dr. The on call dr was a huge bitch, and that didn't happen. Thankfully I had an awesome nurse who was 100% on my side, and she put me on monitors in a room, and contacted specialists from maternal fetal medicine. I had to stay on the monitors for 7 hours, then was seen by the MFM specialist. She said there was NOTHING to be concerned about, and let me go home. I was SOOO glad that I didn't just agree to having a c section! I had to go back today, and have another NST, which went great, and I got to come back home again and don't have to be seen again until after Christmas!
Glad to be home, and have a baby still growing healthily inside!

Good for you for advocating for yourself!! Those kind of situations make me so mad, that he was so quick to urge you into a c/s. I'm glad that baby is still cooking.
Oh man, that sounds like stress. I saw your post on ML and have been wondering what happened today. I'm so glad to hear the NST was great today and you can relax for Christmas!
