my brother's dog is in a coma :o(

One of my brother’s GSPs has occasional seizures and they’ve been getting worse (longer). Last night she had one that wouldn’t stop so he had to take her to the e-vet. His wife just had a baby via c-section so he couldn't even stay with her at the vet for very long. They eventually had to put her into a coma to stop the seizure and now they are waiting to see if she will wake up or not. I feel so bad

She woke up and is blind now, but apparently that is common and will hopefully go away. She ate a little so the vet says that is promising. She's spending another night and we'll know more tomorrow.
I feel so bad for them! I can't imagine having a brand new baby to contend with and then your furbaby being so sick... ugh. Hopefully it all turns out OK!

She is home now - groggy but doing OK. She's on anti-seizure meds and hopefully they work!

I am happy to hear she's home now. Sending lots of T&Ps that the meds work and things will be ok for them.
