Good baby monitor iphone apps?

Merry Christmas MMM! We are staying with a friend next weekend and bringing DS with us. Are there any cheap/free decent baby monitor apps that we can download on our phones? Plan to leave one in their spare bedroom while DS naps and take the other phone with us so we can hear when he's awake... Their bedrooms are upstairs and he'd have to scream pretty loud for us to hear him in their living room. We have a monitor we could take but I'm trying to limit the amount of crap to pack!

I'd think any constantly running app would suck a lot of battery, but if you could plug them in, I'd just use FaceTime.

We uses FaceTime last night at my parents and it worked great. Just mute the one that will be out with you so your LO can't hear you.
