Beach town B&B

Someone tell me what I'm missing about Sanibel. Since moving to Ft Myers we have gone twice and it's nice and all... but I don't know. I'd rather be at Siesta or something!

I've never been, so I don't know. I did camp on Coya Costa and thought it was beautiful but I'm not looking to take my pregant self, husband and dog to an island with no AC over the summer.

I used to live on Siesta Key and I agree, it is my beach of choice, though I'd like to see some place else.

The beach though was nice at Sanibel. The first time we went it was kinda gross? Like had just rained. Sanibel at Aligers Beach was nice though. Peaceful. I felt like there were a lot of tourists but I guess we are "off season" now so I would think prices would be lower and crowds are not as large! Captiva had some neato restaurants -- touristy traps -- but fun looking.
