We need some outdoor decorations (including lights) and some more indoor decor, too. I'm trying to decide where to hit first - but am leaning towards Target. Or maybe Walmart?
Hobby Lobby, Old Time, and AC Moore were already sold out of most XMas a few weeks ago so I know not to bother there...
Anyone else going tomorrow? Where are you heading?
Sales around here last all week long. tomorrow will be nuts, no way am I going out - it's Canada's Black Friday. But on Friday or saturday I am going shopping - spending some gift cards and getting new underwear at the huge annual sale.
I'm hitting Target for gift wrap because last year, I bought stuff on 12/26 for a great price and didn't need to buy A THING to wrap presents this year, it was great! (and I have leftover!)
I'm going to hit up Target and see if I can get lights and anything else that's good/crazy marked down. I might also stop at Lowes/HD but MIL was there a couple of days ago and said they marked their outdoor stuff down last week and most of it is cleaned out - at least near her (in central Jersey).
We are getting a blizzard so I don't think I can go out! So bummed!
We are too, but what they call blizzards here are so wimpy compared to the actual Minnesota blizzards that it is a joke. We are going out to target, and probably Kroger bc they had some Xmas lights that I wanted, and I need groceries anyway.
I'm thinking about it. Does anyone know if Pottery Barn and/or Williams Sonoma do any decent mark downs on Christmas items in store? I have a gift card that I need to use and I was hoping to get some holiday decorations.
ETA: I'm a lurker on this board considering coming out of lurkdom since we have finally agreed to either buy a home by July or purchase land and start building. We've been looking for almost two years and haven't found anything. So this is officially my first post here.
I have zero desire to shop right now. Maybe after we get all the Christmas crap put away, but right now I can't fathom bringing more stuff home after this weekend. LOL.

This where I am. I've done a god job on clutter control lately and don't want to add to it. Thestuff I do want is major and not on sale so it'll wait for a dull dead of winter day.
I have to run by the store on my way home from work tonight to get some food. Will likely go to Fred Meyer so probably will peruse the holiday stuff and see what is left.
I'm with ILs who live in a super small town hours from anything other than a less-small town. My only choices are TJ Maxx (brand new this year - the retail event of the decade here lol) and Stein Mart. We'll be doing both today Forty-five minute drive tho.

I have to do my Xmas clearance shopping ASAP, before I clean up the Christmas stuff, so it can get put away in the tubs. We got the following this morning:
Jo Ann's: fabric to sew stockings. Target: fake Xmas tree, 50% off plus 10% for being a floor model. It is one of those really narrow ones. It is for the kids to decorate in the family room or basement next year. Also, stocking hangers and a couple Xmas hand towels. Kroger: two boxes of Xmas lights, the old fashioned big bulb ones. Getting harder to find them!
It was snowing so there were very people out, which was great bc the stores weren't busy.

I went out today with my gift cards. Old Navy had some awesome deals. Cardigans were $5 each and PJ pants were $6. Plus everything else was on sale. I got 7 items for $60 and had a $100 GC so I still have a bunch leftover.
I also went to Bergners with a GC but only found one top, so I have a lot left of it. They have the thing going where you can text something to a certain number and immediately get a 20% off coupon on your phone.

I picked up some ornaments and bead garland at Home Depot and some berry garland and ribbon at Garden Ridge. I was hoping to find greenery garland for our front porch columns next year but I couldn't find any.
