i think it's a typo and supposed to be "pro se party", which means a non-lawyer who is representing him or herself in court.

So, xh's attorney filed an appearance on Friday, but then today, that's what appears on our court record. Maybe he had an attorney and now he doesn't?

i'm not sure. if he's fired his attorney/his attorney has withdrawn from representing him, that might be what's being reflected in the record.

court dockets are notoriously bullshit to decipher. i'd call the court clerk and sweetalk him or her. "i'm case blah blah and i see this notation in the online docket, can you tell me what it means? fiddle dee dee!"

Like other people said, pro se is when you represent yourself. I wonder if his divorce lawyer fired him
