I had 2 motherhood maternity PJ sets. One with just a strechy neck tank top and the other with flaps. I prefer the pull down because working a nipple through the slits under the flap was annoying. They were sized S/M/L/XL so size doesn't really matter like it does with pants. I just got my pre-preg size.
I really liked that my mom got me 3 piece sets that had a little jacket or wrap so that I could lounge in them all day and have the jacket for some more modesty when we had family/close friend guests over and I didn't feel the need to put on real clothes while they were there.

I have a few nightgowns like this, but they came in a set with a robe too. DS is a summer baby, but I had awful night sweats and couldn't imagine anything warmer.
I never even thought about them. I just figured I would pull my top up and cover bare skin with a blanket in the middle of the night.
I should scope out nursing stuff next month.
That will work after you stop leaking, if you ever start, but I needed something to stuff a pad into, so I would wear an underwire nursing bra to bed then a tank over that.
I'm one of those crazies that wears underwire to bed all the time. I just don't like the feeling of not wearing a bra.
I just wear nursing tanks from Target. I have a light Gilligan and O'Malley knit wrap I keep next to the bed if it's chilly in the middle of the night.
Don't forget about PP hormones. I was always cold pre-pregnancy but now I have night sweats like crazy. No way I could wear an actual PJ set without sweating my tits off.
Ok thanks everyone. Looks like I'll pick up some extra nursing tanks from Target and just see how it goes. If I find I need actual pajamas or I'm cold at night then I'll buy some but I'll hold off for now.

I wore my bravado nursing tanks to bed with DS and was ok, but for some reason got clogged ducts along the elastic band line when I tried to do the same with DD. I ended up purchasing a couple of cheap ON/gap nursing PJ tank tops and alernated them until she weaned.
I got a few 3 piece sets from motherhood and a sleeping dress that was pea in a pod that is amazing. The sleeping dress is a short sleeved sweat shirt material so I can wear it all day and feel somewhat normal too. It was $40 on sale but $70 regular. Built in nursing bra.
I just wore tank tops (I had a ton of post partum night sweating do pjs would have been way too much even in winter).
Ditto. Actually, I somehow escaped the sweatiness, but I've definitely been hot at night. I wore nursing tanks for the first couple months, and recently switched over to LilyPadz with regular tanks (the bands on the nursing tanks were driving me nuts). I would not spend money on nursing pajamas until/unless your baby comes and you decide you want them.

I had a nightgown, but I can't remember the brand. I hated it. It shrunk in the wash and ended up really short. My boobs would pop out of it while I was sleeping and annoyed me.
I wear a medela sleep bra to bed with a tshirt and pj pants. I wear nursing tanks on occasion, but my pads shift around too much in them. I still leak if dd randomly sleeps a long stretch at night so I need to wear pads.
