Speaking of hangers. Next time you clean out your closet hang all your clothes with the hanger hooked from the backside of the rod. When you wear something, hang it up normal. At e end of the season, everything backwards is stuff you didn't wear. It makes it so easy to sort through what you should get rid of.
This tip has come in surprisingly handy for me since I felt I was wasting money on scallions because they went bad before I used them. If you aren't going to use all of a bunch of green onions, slice them and store them in an empty water bottle in your freezer. You shake them out as needed and they last a long time.
I have gone forever without cleaning my shower. I started with a clean shower and spray this every time.
Daily Shower Spray INGREDIENTS 2 C White vinegar 2 T Dishwasher rinse aid 2 T Dishwashing soap 20 drops Tea Tree Oil INSTRUCTIONS 1. Mix all ingredients in a 64 oz. bottle. 2. Fill the remainder of the bottle with hot water.
It smells,so I spray it when I am leaving the bathroom, but it works.
My h almost died from the smell when I tried this. He has a verrry sensitive sense of smell, though.
The breadbags in the boots thing is a fond memory of childhood, and really works!
To clean a grimy or stained dishwasher, put a packet of lemonade koolaid, or chrystal lite, in the soap dispenser, runan empty load. Shiny white! Make sure it's lemonade, though, or you'll end up with a cherry or grape or whatever colored interior!

I haven't tried this, but my old boss swore by it. When you get a sliver, instead of digging it out, take the skin off of the inside of an eggshell and put it over the sliver. Let it dry, peel it off, and the sliver should come out with it.
If you want to smuggle vodka into an event that only allows water bottle you can dab a bit of glue on the cap and seal it to the ring to look unopened.
Oh this reminds me of another! Sneak alcohol into an event by sliding a flask into the waste band of your pants and tying a sweatshirt around your waste with the knot against the flask.
Sneak your weed and one hitter in by putting them in your shoe.
Clean that shelves/bins/door shelves thoroughly and before putting them back in, cover them with a sheet of Glad Press 'n Seal. When it's time to clean again, wipe off anything that's liquid and then peel off the sheet of Glad press 'n seal.
Figures. I remembered something awesome the other day and was like "I should put that in the helpful tip thread!" and now that the thread is RIGHT HERE I can't remember WTF it was!
Helpful tip non cleaning related; write things down when you remember them.
Place a small square of tin foil at the bottom of a coffee cup add a tablespoon or two of baking soda and pour hot, hot hot water into the cup=Instant jewelry cleaner (i've only used it for my wedding ring to date).
Another stainless steel or appliance shiner; rubbing alcohol. I wiped our microwave down with it the other day (the outside) and my Lord, it looked brand new.
Scrubbing with a wet dryer sheet will also get gum out of the inside of a dryer. Learned this one when DH left a pack of gum in his pockets.
3-4 cups of vinegar with 1/2 cup of baking soda is a great washing machine cleaner (top loading machines). Fill the tub with hot water, add the vinegar & baking soda and let agitate for 15 mins. Turn it off for an hour and then let the cycle finish (but use the drain cycle not rinse).

If you want to smoke some mary jane and have no smoking apparatus, make one. You will need:
A pen you can remove the ink stick from that leaves two hollow ends A scooper, such as the ones that come with coffee or kool aid An elastic Some tin foil A fine tipped pin Flame Tape
Take flame and hold under one side of the scoop until it softens. Stick the pen in the soft spot. Surround with tape. Take tin foil, place on top of scoop and secure with elastic. Poke some tiny holes in top of tin foil. Voila - homemade pipe.

Vinegar also works to remove salt stains from shoes during the winter. Just mix equal parts vinegar with water, damp a cloth with the mixture, and wipe. Then wipe again with a cloth damp with just water. If the shoes are leather, you can buff them with a microfiber cloth after they've dried to shine them up.
I'm allergic to a lot of cleaning products, so I seriously use vinegar for everything.
