Somehow I think going from hair half way down my back to this would freak everyone out, particularly me. Not to mention I don't think I'm cool enough to pull it off.
You have pretty hair and I think you'll regret it.
These things always seem like a good idea until you do it and then realize it'll take you three years to get it back to where it is now.
If you do decide to do it, do it in stages instead of all at once. Get a few inches chopped now, a few more in a few weeks...
If I cut off my hair, I want to cut off enough to donate it, otherwise it seems like such a waste. I just can't stand the ponytail headaches and getting my hair caught in everything.

You are giving me heart palpitations. I always regret chopping my hair about a week after it is gone and then spend 2+ years getting it back to the length I ultimately like the most.

That cut is cute! I cut my hair that short last March and it turned out pretty well though I did miss being able to put it up into a ponytail. Year later and it's now shoulder length.
