DD2 is 16 months old and for the last couple of weeks has been telling us when she needs to pee and will sit on the potty and go. She'll also usually go if you ask her if she needs to. I'm not really prepared for this yet, but at the same time I don't want to miss our window and if she's anything like her sister it could become a battle as she gets older. WWYD? Just continue to kind of putz along and put her on the potty when she's in the mood? Put her in undies and give it a go? Something in between?
I'd definitely work with this. Encourage as you can, but also follow her lead. We did that w/ DS and I feel it went well. It's never been a battle w/ him.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
