We are going tomorrow, so no suggestion for bags, etc. maybe next time
The airport is small so we dont think they have those porter things. We have the stroller, the carseat (which is huge) and some carryons. How do we carry the carseat?
Are you leaving early in the morning? If not, I would honestly try to swing out to Walmart, Target, or Babies R Us if you have any of those stores near you, and get a carseat bag or carseat cart that you snap it on. Otherwise maybe you could run out and get a bungee strap to attach it to one of your rolling suitcases? Or bungee it to your stroller?
Are you checking the carseat with your luggage, or are you checking it at the gate?

Good ideas Cloudbee, but we are procrastinators Our flight is at 830. We will check the carseat with the luggage. I think we might be better to wear her and stick the carseat in the stroller
If you're checking it with the luggage, bring some trash bags to wrap it up in. It's going to get really dirty otherwise. Bring some duct or packing tape, too, so you can close up the top. They can attach the tag there. I've seen some uncovered seats end up on the conveyor a real mess, covered in black grease.
Also know that they toss them around like they do luggage. I have also witnessed them falling off of the conveyor that sends them up the ramp into the plane.
You might reconsider checking with luggage and gate check it instead. Less change of damage from being tossed around, and it will stay cleaner.
We check everything in before we go through security stroller and carseat each have a bag. Grab a luggage cart to roll everything from the car to the check in terminal.
I check them unbagged. I get them back bagged. They must bag them prior to putting on the plane. It's not padded but just clear plastic bags but I've never gotten one back damaged-it was fine. I've checked 2-3 carseats at least 10 times. I am not sure that's standard for all airports.
