I think we are going to try and transition Little HB from sleeping in her RnP to the PnP this weekend--with the hopes that it will then be easier to transition her into her crib when I return to work (early Feb).
Little HB is 10 weeks (born 36w5d--so not preemie but sometimes a bit behind) if that makes a difference...
no advice, we just went for it! Figured if she was up every couple of hours we'd go back to the RnP and try again later. She STTN the first night in the crib though! We put the RnP in the nursery a couple of nights, then switched to the crib.
We didn't make the big switch until DS was almost 6 months LOL! He loved the rnp so so so much, & I was chicken shit to ruin his perfect 12 hour nights. When he was 6 months we made the big transition. It wasn't that big of a deal, the hardest part was that I rocked him to sleep every night at that age, and it was very very hard to get him into the pnp without waking him up. Add to the fact that he was very large for his age, and my back was killing me. I ended up sleep training at 7 months because I kept throwing my back out. LOL.
