The color "linen"

Would you think it's closer to a white or closer to a taupe? Looking at gliders for the nursery online, and "no picture is available" for the linen option. I think a white would work with the walls but a taupe would look weird. Granted it is the "Best Chairs" series, so I could drive down to BBB to look at their fabric swatches (which I probably should do

Google it. There should be images that come up from the manufacturer's website.

The "best chairs" website just lists a six digit code associated with the color and not a name. I'm trying to look at different companies that resell the brand to see if any of them have images.

Go look at the swatches. We got ours last weekend and I love it! We got the Best Chairs Irvington

My bath towels are the Macy's brand Home and they are linen color which is like a taupe or tan.

I would think that linen would be a light taupe/ khaki.

ETA: We have been looking at linen and taupe sofas and the taupe is definitely darker

I would probably go look at samples, because I could see that being a vague color description that could vary from brand to brand. But I personally picture something a tad darker than an ivory but not as dark as an tan/khaki.
