NCR House Build update

My husband finished the chimney and a bunch of guys came up last week to help put in the posts. I'm really glad we decided to move the chimney to the center of the house. It was supposed to be on the exterior wall.



The red to the right is the backsplash for the kitchen. Things are coming together! Looking forward to moving in soon!

I LOVE that chimney. I want to put that kind of stone on ours some day. I also love the nice high ceilings. I am drooling over this!

Lovely- I was wondering how it was moving along!

It is amazing how much patience you have to have for a custom build- this house went from wooded lot to "here's the keys" in 6 months, and a lot of that time was just due to the backlog on inspections and certs at the time (oh, 2005, you were so weird).

beautiful! I hope you keep posting more pics. i wish our chimney was in the middle like yours, I hate it being on the exterior wall. I also love the high windows!
