We need to get out of the damn house more, mama is going batshitcrazy very quickly this winter!! :-(
We are starting Kindermusik classes in a few weeks so that should help, also my new mom's group is converting to a play group since the babies are getting more mobile. So that gets us out Tues/Fri and I am working Wed/Thurs.
I have to get my shite together to apply to kindergarten in two different countries.
I guess that's not as much of a resolution as an anxiety-inducing task hanging over my head, but I aim to keep cool and not be crazy, screaming mama as I try to navigate the process.
Oh, and I resolve to not jump through the internet to punch the next NYC-based friend of mine who posts on Facebook about how she/he has been prepping his/her kid for the Gifted & Talented test over the holiday break. It's such useless AWing and is annoying in general.
Knock out several long overdue baby tasks. LONG OVERDUE.
-make our will -order birth certificate (huge PITA in Virginia) -babyproof -tackle the clothing migration of 18mo clothes to 2T. I have 6 (!!!) bins of hand-me-down 2T clothes to sort through.

If they're that gifted, they shouldn't have to prep for the test

(sorry for lurking -- regular MM is boring today)
this was my thought too.
My resolution is that I will survive 2013. Adding #2 is freaking me out.
Mine is to try to not make myself feel bad if I can't do everything I want with my child. I want to be the best mom I can be but realize that doesn't mean I have to be perfect.

--BF until Little HB is 4 months (6 months is my super goal/"reach")
--Create a will/trust
--Create an emergency bag in case "the big one" hits (i.e. copies of birth certificates, clothes for each of us, bottled water, etc.---maybe this is a good use for the sample formula I got in the mail since Little HB is EBF?)
My resolution is to exercise more (happy mama = happy kids) and stay on top of the kid clutter. I also want to remain patient with DS1 and get him ready for kindergarten (omg) in the fall.
