And I like it so much better! I feel like the space is so much more usable now, and I am ecstatically happy.
Did you know that it is possible to move a sofa across the room with a cat sitting on the arm, and not disturb the cat? Neither did I. I kept expecting him to explode out of the room, but instead he just gave me this bored look like, "Are you done yet?"
The hardest part was moving with TV (mostly because I was determined not to take it off the stand). It was slow going, but I made it work. And when I took a break and let it sit in the middle of the room for a few minutes, it gave me the opportunity to finally dress all the cords properly.
I hope I won't lose any street cred if I admit that I used hair ties to do this.
I love it too. I used to always rearrange as a kid. Unfortunately, our living room is the best set up with our current stuff, or i would do it too. It's always so refreshing.

I forgot how much I love it. I used to change my bedroom around CONSTANTLY as a kid.
Unfortunately, most of my house is already arranged in the best possible configuration, so there aren't a lot of options. Or so I've always thought...hmm.
The fact that pretty much my entire house is carpeted also makes it a pain because nothing slides well. I wonder if those furniture slider things actually work.
