I am looking for a different look for my eye lid. I have been using a light, shimmery shade and UD primer. I do black eyeliner and mascara just for my upper eye. I guess now I want a more matte look. I know I could do a matte nude eyeshadow, but I have the UD Naked palette and none of those shades work for me (too warm).
My sister uses a MAC paint pot called "Painterly" that she said was a kind of eyelid concealer. Anyone know about this? Maybe this would be a good alternative to eyeshadow?
I've had a couple of paint pots, they are cream Shadows. Personally, those didn't work on me (they crease like crazy regardless of how I apply). I recommend trying out Bobbi browns eyeshadow cremes, they come in matte colors and last well.
What about just using UD primer in Eden. It's kind of a cream color and its matte.
I was going to rec this too. I really wanted to love the primer in "sin" but UD products give me a rash on my eyes. The color as a bit of a shimmer to it, but will look natural.

Thanks for the recs, ladies. I think I might check out the BB cream shadows. I have moved away from her products after using her gel liner forever. I will also look at the UD colored primers. Thanks!
I really like Bare Minerals Prime Time Primer Shadow. It looks like it's on it's way out though, colors are much more limited than when I first bought it.
I really like Bobbi Brown cream shadows for matte. They are really pretty resistant to creasing in the grand scheme of things - 12 hours days no problem. I use it in bone and stone.
