I blew through seasons 1 and 2 of the Vampire Diaries on netflix, but now the only episodes available for season 3 OnDemand or on Hulu are 14-21. So what do I do? I buy the goddamned season on itunes. That's what.
I needed something different after finishing Prison Break (which still makes me sad).

Chesh- omg- yes it's worth it. The first episode I was like, "Um...so it's like twilight? But for tv?" But then...THEN...I realized that it was NOT like twilight, in that it's actually awesome (the acting is decent, the plot is good, the actors are actually attractive, etc). Believe me, if it wasn't worth it, I wouldn't have just spent $40 to keep watching it right.this.second.
I don't think it is anything like twilight. I really like it and they have a lot of eye candy on the show.
I may or may not have recently had a naughty dream about Damon (who is NOT my "type" at all).
OMG, I have had a few over the past few weeks and he is not my type either, I never go for dark haired guys like him.....there is just something about that character.

I do normally go for dark haired guys (and blue eyes), but he's just so PRETTY. I'm into the more rugged, rough looking fellows. But yeah, something about that character.
I'm the dumb dork that gets into the show after its long gone. Think 24
No, no, that's GOOD! Then most of the episodes are available on netflix, etc. I HATE getting into a series thats still in production because I'm so used to watching it whenever I want and not waiting a week between episodes or months between seasons!

Is that actually good? I loved the books as a teen, but when I reread them as an adult, they held up about as well as Ally McBeal, which is to say, not at all. Do you know how the show differs from the books (other than making Elena dark-haired like the Twilight chick instead of the platinum blonde she is in the books)?

I dont know how they compare to the books Kuus, I never read them. But the show itself has me hooked, and not in a "It's so bad I have to find out if it ever starts to get good" sort of way.

I've never read the books but I hear the show is nothing like them from friends who have.
I really need to get you into Supernatural. There are 7 seasons ready for your watching pleasure. I promise, you won't be disapointed!
Actually, you DID get me into it! Well, I mean that you made me want to get into it lol! I watched the first episode (alone, at night) and scared myself, but loved it. I just need to get through V.D. (wow that sounds bad....) and then it's my next adventure!
OMG. I started watching VD (teehee) when DH was gone on a work trip. Blew through seasons 1 & 2. Talked about it so much that DH got interested, and then proceeded to re-watch seasons 1 & 2. I'm *thisclose* to shelling out for Season 3 on Amazon because I don't think I can wait!
Those of you Supernatural fans - tell me more. I watched about 8 or 9 episodes, and just didn't get into it (although, I would happily get right on in to Dean...). Does it get better?
