My degree is in chemical engineering and I HATED O-Chem. It was like, 'here's a 1000+ page book. Now memorize it. You'll be tested on it later.' I barely passed with a C.
You know how some things just trigger memories. My college roommate my 2nd year (2nd semester) was a 3rd year Chemical Engineer who hated everything about living in a dorm with me.
On the phone with her friend: I don't know why these stupid new people are calling it O-Chem, IT'S ORGANIC! Physical Chemistry is P-Chem, but it is ORGANIC NOT O-CHEM!!
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I took organic (o chem us what my dad called it) in 2 months. One for each semester, in the summer. I'm pretty sure I didn't even retain the ability to draw a hexagon.
