My ankle has been hurting for the last week, but was feeling a little better yesterday, so I wrapped it and went out for a run. That hurt. So I stopped, took off the wrap, and started again. That hurt worse. I walked back home and cried. Off I go to the doctor, I don't know what it is or what to do about it. I was hoping to do great in my 10K on July 4th...now I am just hoping I am well enough to do it at all.
I know this is my own fault...I upped my mileage too quickly and then did a fast 3 miles when I shouldn't have. I have no one to blame but myself, but I am still so screamin' mad! Thank goodness the HM isn't until December. That's the big one I'd be upset about missing or even just not being in my best shape for.

I'm sorry. I had a multitude of problems when I was training for a HM and ended up having to wear an ankle support brace for the race. I was able to rest after the race and that helped. I hope you get some answers, ankle pain sucks.
