I pip'd this last night, but here it is again. It is a white Ralph Lauren down comforter. I got it at the outlet. I got all the pillow cases at an antique store. They are all different. (sorry about the pic quality. It is off of my instagram)
We were dumb and brought our bed over from England...which means I can't buy sheets from the US for it. AKA, you seriously don't want to see our current duvet set because sheet sets/duvets from Marks and Spencer are b-o-r-i-n-g.
We made the mistake of buying a King Sized mattress that is extra deep (or something like that) and we can't find a comforter to fit. All King sized comforters are about 2' to small - and just barely cover the top of the mattress.
Most of our bedding comes from thecompanystore.com. A little more expensive but very good quality. I've also purchased fabric and made my own. Currently we are sporting plain grey in the master bedroom because we have blue/cream toile fabric wall paper.
fields - I'm dying for a new mattress but don't want to buy one here since we'd need all new sheets and then it would be impossible whenever we go back. I'm trying to convince H to ask our sponsees to bring over a mattress for us in their shipment this spring. Anyways, if you need anything shipped backed, let me know. I can ship it via the US post office.
Comforter and cover from The Company Store. Love them both. We have a cat that sleeps in our bed, so I like having a duvet cover that I can wash frequently.

I just got a new duvet cover from Pottery Barn, my parents got me a GC for Christmas:
That's from the PBK site, my bed is currently covered in clean laundry piles waiting to be put away. I put the new duvet on our old quilt for now, and last night was the first time we'd had it on. It looks great and was just the right amount of warmth.
I want to completely re-do our bed, and get a nice coverlet/patterned blanket under the duvet, plus a couple of Euro pillows and the Euro shams from PBK. It's kind of expensive to do all that, though, so I'm working my way up a little at a time.
Thanks! I'm kind of excited about it, actually -- it's satisfying when you want something for awhile and are finally able to get it, and it's just as nice as you'd imagined.
