Mine was nice. We took our dog to the beach and played fetch with her ball and had a ton of fun. Then I read an entire book over two days while my H and dad golfed.

Boo to it being shit-tastic, Dr.L. I hope things are better today.
My weekend was good. I met up with friends on Saturday morning for brunch, then we ended up walking around Harvard Square a bit (one of the girls was from NC, and had never been). That afternoon/night, my husband and I went to the movies (The Dictator, eh), and then grabbed dinner at a pub in Waltham.
Sunday, we ran over to Wellesley Center so I could return something to Talbots, then had lunch at Califonia Pizza Kitchen (such a mistake). Then we did nothing.
Yesterday, we went to the gym in the morning, and had planned to go to the movies, but decided instead to chillax. So we took the dog on a walk, then went to get gas and a car wash, and some ice cream. We made the mistake of bringing Jack with us. He was not amused by the car wash. I wish I'd thought to video it; he practically threw himself over my husband's shoulder when it started up. I laughed so. hard. Because I am a terrible pooch mom, heh.
Ours was busy! We made an impromptu trip down to CT to visit DH's family on Saturday, had a cookout on Sunday, and then I went shopping/birthday party planning for DD (she turns 4 today!! but her party is this Sunday). It kept us busy, that's for sure!

Sorry your weekend sucked, Dr. L. I hope it's nothing major or long-term. My weekend was pretty good. I had some down time to relax, which was nice. Saw Avenue Q at the Lyric Stage downtown (it was awesome-- if you get a chance, definitely check it out!) but otherwise didn't do much. Work is winding down, which is nice. The long weekend gave me a taste for summer!
DH had a week of working late, then left me to go to a weekend event. Meaning he left at 5pm on Friday and returned at 9pm on Sunday. Not much of a holiday weekend. Monday either he or we all spent the entire day at one point or another at a car dealership trying to buy a new car. Left the house at 11, DD and I returned at 3, and DH hopped around dealerships until 8. But hey, we got a new car out of the deal.
We actually went into the day looking at a used car, but it had too many bells and whistles, and the new one was actually cheaper (or evened out once we added what we wanted). DH spent hours at one place and walked before heading to another place that matched the price. *sigh*
