I've noticed a couple changes to my breasts since giving birth and breastfeeding. Prior to motherhood, my breasts were both a bit "lumpy." Specifically, I had a couple lumps immediately behind my nipples that had been there since puberty. Totally nothing to worry about. Since I've been breastfeeding, those seem to have disappeared.
Second, my nipples/areola were always a light shade of brown. During pregnancy, they darkened significantly and the areola became bigger (which I know is normal). Now I notice the size is back to normal, but the color is much pinker than before.
Anyone notice similar changes? I'm especially curious about the disappearance of those little lumps that had been present for ~17 years. I assume this is all because of hormones. (And to clarify, I'm absolutely not concerned, more... fascinated?)
Anyone experience similar (or other) changes to their breasts due to nursing or just giving birth?

Saggy and huge. I was 38 when I had my first and 40 when I had my second and I'm still nursing. I don't think they'll ever be perky again (without surgery). I just invest in really good, structured bras.
