Baby is still breached, and his head is sitting nice and tight up in my ribs - which is not the greatest of feelings, but it's life
DH's grandma had given us money at Christmas "for the baby" and the City Mini finally went on sale at BRU, so I picked it up yesterday. It's crazy how excited I am about a stroller.
Next appointment this Thursday which will include a growth ultrasound. Excited to see my little man again!

Samantha is 13 weeks old as of yesterday. She is "talking" and kicking her feet a lot. She is definitely a morning baby. She generally sleeps good at night waking 1 or 2x, though we had two nights where she woke up 5 or 6x through the night. I think she was too cold.
Her YaYa and PopPop came to visit for Christmas and she got all sorts of spoiled. We finally finished her nursery. I love it. She also got a million gifts from her grandparents. Also a friend from Texas sent over two HUGE boxes of toys that her kids don't use anymore. So far Talking Elmo is winning. He sings Twinkle Twinkle which is her favorite song of the moment.
I loved spending Christmas with Amelia, it made all the little things like my awful chili inconsequential.
I'm trying to start weening. Send me strength. I need to figure out how to do this without clogged ducts, I got one Saturday and then you have to nurse as much as possible and it defeats the purpose.
H is surprisingly really sad about #2 so I have decided not to get an IUD just yet, but if I'm even going to consider going for round #2 I need to get this one off the boob long enough to take a couple of muscle relaxers and maybe even a few martinis. Dry.
Amelia is running now. She's mastered the step up and down to get on the porch. She likes to cuddle again and sweeter than I could have ever imagined.

Most of you already saw this on FB, but we found out at our u/s Thursday we are having a girl. The tech almost couldn't give us an answer, because the cord was all in between her legs almost the entire time, but luckily she gave us a quick (yet definite) view. So this pregnancy, I truly had no preference, but now that I know, I'm really so excited about having another girl. I'm still measuring a week ahead, but no change in my due date. Everything looked great, and I've been feeling good.

If you're going to wean, do it really slow. I never had any problem with engorgement or clogged ducts. The weaning process was mostly led by Zoe and it was over several months. If you get engorged at all you can always pump or hand express enough to relieve the pressure and your body will get the hint to not keep producing milk.
I think the baby may have flipped. I felt what I'm pretty sure was hiccups near my pelvis and I'm feeling movement up near my right rib (all movement has been near my pelvis with the exceptional head butt to my left rib). Guess I'll find out at the growth ultrasound, but for now I'm remaining hopeful

oh yay! couldn't you feel if he flipped at this point? i feel like a lot of the big movement i've had are stretches/full body movements where i see my stomach stretched on one side. guess i just assumed i would know if baby flipped.
last appt they guessed baby was head down with butt up to the left and feet to the right. lol

I've been REALLY uncomfortable the last few days - to the point I've been super crabby and I think my husband was dreading the next 7-8 weeks. I actually thought it was odd I wasn't feeling as uncomfortable today. If he did move, it makes sense it was over the past couple of days. Guess I'll have confirmation in a few days. Watch, I'll be wrong
Have you or has you OB recommended inversion exercises to encourage him to flip?
OB hasn't mentioned it, when we chatted about it they said baby still has plenty of time to flip. I've been looking at the spinning babies website. A lot the last day because all the kicking is low in my pelvis again - ready to give it a try. I figure it can't hurt
If you want to start taking steps to flip him, in retrospect I wish I'd have tried acupuncture, but I'm guessing you may be over needles by this point. I visited a chiro for Webster method 4 xs and inverted a couple times, and did lots of cat/cow, and sat on my couch with my hands on the floor regularly from 30-39 weeks, all miserable (literally) attempts. Amelia was really high in me and apparently I have a long torso (who knew I had a long anything-I'm 5'2") and wasn't going anywhere. But I had an excuse to try acupuncture and wish I'd have taken it.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. I used acupuncture during my first tri for morning sickness (fatigue) which didn't work. I used it again to induce labor. I had two sessions the week before I went into labor. One the day before I started contractions. I was willing to try and do anything.

Needs don't phase me at all anymore - and acupuncture needles are tiny in comparison to what I'm used to (my husband keeps joking he could give me an epi . I'm going to ask my OB about acupuncture during my appointment tomorrow morning.
I had a professor in college from the Philippines and I remember her telling us about something called moxibustion and how great it was getting breech babies to turn. Why we were talking about that in Social Statistics I do not know. Anyway, she said she had seen it used successfully many times at home and most people there swear by it. I think it is used in conjunction with acupuncture here, at least by Eastern practitioners of acupuncture. Everything's worth a shot, right?

Chiropractic - Dr Bain on Cross Creek in New Tampa. The birth center uses him for everything, just make sure to ask for him when you call.
Mia is officially a crawler. She will still inchworm sometimes if she isn't getting where she wants to be fast enough, though, lol. She is pulling herself up on everything now causing me lots of gray hair, I keep telling her to slow down but she isn't listening *sigh*

Kennedy is everywhere and into everything. It's exhausting but so much fun. I'm really eager to get started on therapy again, because it's been over 2 months and I feel like we're not making any progress in speech. Caleb is almost 5 months and a giant. Like 20 pounds. He's sitting in a supported/tripod sit. I love watching them play together. There's moments that are really hard having two very dependent kids so close in age. But that makes it all worth it.
