We had a good weekend, though I was a terribly lazy mother.
Friday I met L and the kids at the mall for dinner (she'd taken them to buy some huge Lego thing they wanted to spend their Christmas money on.)
Saturday L and I totally de-Christmasfied our house. L did the outside while I tackled the inside. By 11am it was done and L headed out to go write for the rest of the weekend. It was cold and muddy from the rain/sleet/snow mix we'd gotten and no one felt like going out. The kids alternated between playing Wii and Legos all day and no one got out of their pajamas. I hung out in my bed and read an entire book on my Kindle. I did feed the kids and then put them in my bed to watch a movie before we all crashed (Carter fell asleep at 6:45 and woke only enough to go to the bathroom and get into bed.)
Sunday I was less lazy and got ready for the week, did laundry, cleaned up before going to meet L for lunch. Took the kids to Costco before meeting some friends at our house. Finished off the day with the kids watching another movie, while I read another book. Stayed up too late reading and then the kids woke up at 5:45 this morning. ^o)

Um...I don't really remember. I know I did a lot of laying around during the day yesterday due to a sinus infection/cold. And we went out to dinner with my sister and her SD. Oh, and I made a couple of dips and things for the NYE party we're going to tonight.
Oh, I remember Saturday now. I baked cookies. Then we went to my parents' house for a family holiday GTG with my side. Then we went home and I bawled on my wife's shoulder for a while. That was fun.
Friday I was solo and intended to clean the house after I put the kids to bed, but it mostly ended up being folding laundry while watching tv.
Saturday morning our washing machine broke and flooded the basement. I didn't handle that well. Cleaned up, got ourselves together, and sent DW and RB off to dance class. Find out dance was cancelled. We all hit target on our way to meet up with my parent's at Denny's for lunch. Daisy was a nut. I don't know why we try to eat out with her any more. Put the kids down for nap/rest and I went to Home Depot. After nap DW took the kids out to play in the snow while I fixed the washing machine (well, temporary...had to order a part online for a more permanent fix). Kids came in and I did some projects with them (goop, gum drop/toothpick buildings), ate dinner, baths (with ivory soap in the microwave!), books, bed.
Sunday we slept in way late. Daisy got up at 6am but went back down until 10!!! The other two played so nicely and quietly that DW and I stayed in bed (and woke up startled!) until 9:30. Made yummy waffles for bfast. Went outside - adults cleared cars and shoveled while the kids played and trekked over to the little playscape at the church behind our property (Sprout pulled Daisy in a sled all the way there, it was adorable). Inside to bake brownies and make cocoa. Watched Chuggington instead of naptime and spent the rest of the afternoon playing/hanging hot wheels tracks (shoot me)/doing more projects.
Friday was cold and rainy so we played Hedbanz before Owl's teacher came over, after she left we played with toys and colored.
We hung out at home Saturday morning then spent time with the IL's.
Sunday, I made breakfast sandwiches for the kids and extra to freeze, got Apple down for a nap and took the rest of the girls out to start a compost pile. We raked the yard and took the leaves to the back lot then raked the pomegranates and pom tree leaves into the compost pile. We pulled up old dead weeds and tried to pull up some of the giant weeds that are growing but I realized I will have to dig them out. We had lunch and played inside for the rest of the afternoon. J took A to visit the IL's while I put the little girls to bed, Iz stayed home with me because of bad behavior at IL's on Saturday.
Friday night we had our immediate-family Christmas gift exchange and my sister came over afterward to watch Pitch Perfect. Saturday was her last day in town, so I went to Costco and the phone store with her and my mom just to hang out, and then they met my dad for lunch while I came home to hang out with the babies while Jen did errands. She came over afterward to hang out for a little bit before she had to hit the road. I was sad to see her go but happy that we got to spend so much time together during her break.
Sunday Jen and Lady Baby slept in while Mister Baby played and I took down and packed all of the Christmas stuff, wrestled the tree into the backyard, and cleaned up all the needles. In the afternoon I hung out with the babies while Jen went to a coffee shop to apply for jobs.
