sundays episode was amazing! Peter Dinklage stole the show. I love his facial expressions, how he doesn't even need lines yet you really FEEL what his character is feeling. DH and I ended up watching it again last night
I loved it! It was nice to finally get a little action! I'm super bummed that next week is the finale already, I wonder how long HBO is going to make us wait for the next season?...
You might want to put spoilers in the title of your thread, I feel bad saying what I was about to say in case anyone comes in here and doesn't know there are spoilers

are there spoilers in my post? I didn't think so, which is why I didn't put that in the title

My point was, because "Spoilers" wasn't in the title, I didn't post what I was going to say about the episode, which was the death of a major character, but whatever.

Do you think they really killed Peter Dinklage's character? Half-man, noooooo!!!! He's the best part of that show, but I know that the author is known for killing off major characters, and I haven't read the books.
I really couldn't tell, it looked like just a slash to his face at first, but then there was the falling down and all. I will be very sad if he is no longer on the show. Who is going to bitch-slap Geoffrey for me?

I am really hoping not, it did look that way, though...He is my absolute favorite character.

This was the most amazing episode. I hear that George R. Martin wrote or contributed some way to this episode.
Although I find the guy with the burned face/head creepy (can't think of his name) I really think Sansa should have went with him. She has hell of a better chance in the world then she does with that horrible little ass Joffrey. What a puss.
I don't think they killed off Tyrion, but if they do I will hate it. He was so awesome on that episode.

I know! I couldn't understand her rationale at all for staying. The Hound saved her from rape, he may be a scary-ass dude but marriage to Geoffrey is a lot scarier.
You made me snap, I looked up the answer in a Fire and Ice wiki. But I also won't tell.
So, here's my question. Who was the one who tried to kill Tyrion? I know he was part of the King's Guard, but he was all in the spiky helmet and I wasn't sure if it was someone we were supposed to know.

We haven't seen the episode yet - but seriously, someone dies? Who? This won't be spoilery to me - I'm a fan of the books, but I can't place who actually dies? DH had a theory that someone was going to die out of place before the end of the season, but I will not reveal who as it will be a *major* spoiler before it happens if you haven't read the books!

I assumed it was someone Cersei hired, she hates her brother

I was also wondering who it was that tried to kill Tyrion. I thought it was the guy that was standing behind Joffrey before he left to go be with his mommy and Tyrion said something to him like fight on the king's behalf. He was all in his uniform so I wasn't sure who it was.
I thought Cersei was great in this episode. I liked her little "pep talk" to Sansa about women's power laying between their legs.
I also don't know why Sansa didn't leave.
I really, really, really hope that Tyrion isn't dead! He is THE BEST character.

Meryl trant. He is the member of the kings guard who hits Sansa, punches her etc. he told Tyron once he follows the kings orders without question and Tyron was a traitor for speaking against Joffrey. Gregor is the man who tried to take Sansa away. Sansa thinks Gregor is one thing: a killer. Nothing else. It has taken her a long time to see that her dad was a killer, rob is a killer othe ramen she thinks are " good" also do bad things. Like him. No one is black or white. I actually love Gregor as a character. He has a lot of depth.
It was a great episode. I will say, The Hound swings a mean sword. Who knew you could do all that damage in one swing.
I have read all the books, and The Hound has grown on me. He has a lot of different things about him both good and bad. I can't wait to see how they pull of the next couple of books.
Bronn: Do you know how to use that? Tyrion: I chopped wood once. No, actually, I watched my brother chop wood.
First, hysterical line. Second, the reason I don't think he's dead. He's never been in battle before and therefore never wounded. it'll probably end up being a superficial cut and he's freaking out over it because he's never been cut!

Actually, he's been in a previous battle for about 5 seconds. Remember, he was immediately knocked unconcious?
