didn't make it to 2, because my migraines have gotten to bad and we're doing enforced weaning because I need to start meds ASAP.
Mixed feelings on all of this, but, honestly, as someone who works FT, spends 14 hours away from my kid on work days, and deals w/ migraines (although, FWIW, nursing hormones = migraine help for the first 18 months or so), I'm pretty satisfied--I wasn't sure we would make it to 6 months, let alone almost 2 years.
Now I need to go hand-express as little as possible because while she's 'barely' been nursing recently, apparently it was still 'enough' to make me 'full'.
Great job! I'm sure it's difficult to stop when it's not really entirely on your own time table, but I hope that you feel so proud of your accomplishments!

well, my boobs dried up after about 2 weeks--I mean, I can still get milk out if I try, but I no longer am wearing cabbage leaves :-P
We were only doing 2--3 sessions per day, which helps. We had the week my kid was OOT on vacaton and a week and a half of hellacious fits...and now she's better. Although she still asks if she sees me w/o a shirt on.
