i have my milk frozen in bags...it's been really hot lately, and dd doesn't really handle heat well. she's ebf 5 months, and i think i might try spoonfeeding some icy bm. but how do i defrost it enough to get out of the bag, but not so much that it's no longer slushie?
I froze in 1 oz. cubes and put them in a mesh feeder. They melted pretty quickly, but DS loved it. It made a sticky mess!
Oh good idea! Guess I'll need to get some ice cube trays then! I live in seattle, so by the time I get them and freeze the bm, it won't be hot out anymore! Oh well. Wil prep for the next heatwave.
