QOTW: what brand pump do you use? have you used others? do you like it?

i use philips avent duo electric. i've also used the medela symphony (hospital use for jaundice, and subsequent rental). i like my philips one, it took me a while to get used to, i didn't know you could adjust the pressure with the squeeze handle, and was going at 100% so i was in a lot of pain. after i learned how to use it correctly, it's a breeze.

i looked up the cost of the symphony, and it was a couple grand. i don't understand the hype. i feel like my philips does more than it does, and i get plenty of milk in short amounts of time.

I have a Medela Freestyle. It's been great so far. It's very portable & the rechargeable battery lasts forever.

this is something i didn't know about to look for when purchasing a pump. avent is not portable..but i have a car adapter and can use it there.
