I have a 5 month old distracted daughter and 2 days ago she turned around to say hi to her dad in full latch a couple times in a row. It hurt. She kept nursing and finally fell asleep and I put her in her crib. I figured if would stop hurting but it is getting worse. Just the tip of the nipple hurts to touch but it feels like it hurts inside. She is perfectly fine and happy. I have an appt on Monday for my annual so I'll tell my dr, I'm sure it's just sore, but has anyone had sore nips when their babies discovered the rest of the world still exists during nursing time?

It definitely hurts when LO pulls back to look around & doesn't unlatch. Since this was posted last week I hope you're feeling better now

Yes I'm much better thank you! I was miserable for 3-4 days.
