How to transport a freezer stash?

We're making a 900 mile move in mid-July. This of course means at least a 2 day car trip with the kids. I currently have 450ish oz in the freezer and I'd like to transport at least some of it with us. Has anyone moved their stash before? Did you use dry ice? Did it stay frozen?
