My almost 3 month old EBF DD has gone from eating every 2.5-3 hours to now eating every hour for the last 2 weeks.
I can pump 6-7 ounces from my left breast and about 3-4 ounces from my right so I know she is getting milk. She seems ravenous all the time and nurses for about 20 minutes at a time.
She is a big baby, in the 97% for height and the 91% for weight-she wears size 6 months. She is 16 lbs currently. I am wondering if because she is so large that this may be why she needs to eat more frequently.
Is it a normal thing to be feeding her this much around this age?
Honestly all I do is feed her. I tried distracting her,a soother, keeping her busy but she honestly acts like she hasn't eaten.
I actually was wondering that. She is waking up in a puddle of drool and chomping/sucking her hands/fingers which are constantly in her mouth. Thanks for the help.
