DH took Li to a swim class this morning and I had a mani/pedi. Just back from an early dinner with my grandmother. No plans for tomorrow. DH will probably go play golf, Li and I will probably have brunch with a friend and her kids and my parents will most likely come over on their way home from the beach.
DH and I caught up on yard work today to prep for some landscaping work we are having done later in the week. Tomorrow, my IL's are coming over for brunch to celebrate Mother's Day since DH and I were on vacation last week.

This is my first year, so I'm not sure how it will turn out. We have a plot at the community garden which is about 25' by 25'. They have a large fence all of the way around it. Eventually I would like to have a garden in our own backyard, but we definitely need a fence to keep the deer and other wild creatures out of it. I was pretty much looking up what would be the hardest to mess up. We did about half seedlings and half direct sow. Now I'm just worried about weeding especially with the direct sows. I'm worried I won't be able to tell the difference.

Our backyard is fenced, so I don't have to worry about deer. I think I need to do some research. I have to figure out where to do this where the lawn guys won't mow over it.
