They rescheduled the fireworks for tonight because of the storm. On one hand, I feel like I should take DD. But it is really hot. It will be past her bedtime. Traffic will be awful. Am I being a fun sucker or unpatriotic?

Ok this isn't on the same topic at at all, but I'm going to hijack, did you get chickens yet?

Not yet. We moved in here in March and we just have so much to do around the house. My goal is to have my chicken coop and garden ready by next spring. I did find this little old Mennonite lady from down the street who sells organic freerange chicken eggs for $1/dozen medium and $1.50/dozen jumbo. Score!
