Anyone doing anything exciting?
Our plans on Saturday fell through so I'm actually looking forward to a nice low-key day; catch up on laundry, do some gardening, etc. Sunday we have a birthday party to attend in the morning and then a BBQ in the afternoon. Looks like the weather is going to be beautiful all weekend - so YAY for that
Saturday will be laundry day. There's lots to be done. That's after DS and I take a foster to PetSmart and then go grocery shopping. I also need to bake a cake and banana bread sometime tonight or tomorrow.
Saturday night we're watching a friends LO so Sunday will be spent most likely taking him to the zoo. Sunday afternoon I've got a baby shower to go. I'm not done knitting the gift, but ah well.
I have breakfast with the neighborhood tomorrow and we're attending a local foodie event tomorrow night-appetizers, entrees and dessert at a fundraiser, add wine and beer and I'm excited for an adult evening!

We're going strawberry picking, going to a picnic for my son's preschool, and meeting up with some friends at a park. It's going to be a busy weekend, but fun.

My husband is away with the Army so DD and I are meeting up with another Nestie (or whatever we're calling ourselves these days) and her DD and we're going to the Philadelphia Zoo. The weather is going to be perfect so I'm sure eleven billionty other people have the same idea.

After our jam packed last weekend, this one is looking pretty tame. Sports Sat morning and hopefully we will FINALLY get the &@$! swing set assembled. No confirmation from the guy yet though.
Sunday is the open house at our local fire station so we will probably go to that. The boys love it and I think the weather will be nice.
We we're supposed to go to Niagara Falls with a group of friends but I've been really sick so we bailed. I'm starting to recover, and hoping to just have some quality time with DD and get the house back in order.

I'm sorry you're sick. I love Niagara Falls and can't wait to take DS someday. It's a long drive for us so it will be a few years.
We're visiting my parents this weekend and helping them plan/start some home improvements. They're planning to eventually sell their house and move closer to us!
