Originally I thought no way to Hensley Fay, but the more I say the others out loud, the more I prefer it. It sounds nicer. But, in general, I prefer Ruby to Hensley. I'm no help.
I really don't like Ruby Rose or Ruby Lane though.
I have to admit, I am bias with the name Fay(e), it is my grandmothers name, and if I have a little girl she will be a Faye. However, I like Hadley Hope.

Oh, I'm no help bc I don't like any. Hadley reminds me of blazing saddles. Hensley is one letter off from a shirt style. And I don't like character traits for names (hope, grace charity). Ruby will always be the girl who died of consumption in anne of avonlea.

I like Hensley Fay.
Hadley is nms.
Ruby I'm on a really weird fence with. I don't quite like any of those middle names for it. I both love and hate it so there must have been more than one person in my past with the name Ruby thus giving me this divided opinion.
What sounds nicer together? Ava and Ruby or Ava and Hensley?
Hadley is getting very popular, last year it was #178. Hensley isn't on baby names, so I'm against it for the possibly made up factor. I guess I like Ruby the best, except it makes me think of that show on WE.
I do <3 you though, and I think whatever name you choose will fit perfectly when she's here!
I found Hensley on one baby name site so far. It was in H's ancestry as a maiden name. Wynn, is in my brother's name and is a great grandmother's maiden name, so the main reason I like it is because of the family significance + that it's different. H loves it, but I do think it sounds kind of made up and trendy, like Kinsley.
What show on WE? It's one of the few names with Family significance on my side that hasn't been all used up yet. I have like 20 cousins with only one younger than me and most of them have kids, so that's saying something! Lol. If we went with Ruby Hope, it would be different, classic and with family significance from both sides. But when we went to talk to my belly, and call her Ruby.. it was kinda akward. Ugh.
Hadley is popular/ trendy, but we love it. Like Ava.
I just feel like there has to be something we haven't thought of yet!! Two days ago, we decided on Ruby for sure, then we were all " what about.....?"

I prefer Ruby. With ANY of those names as a middle (Fay, Wynn, Grace, etc). I think Hadley/Hensley Hope + your last name is too much, kwim? I love Ruby. I think it sounds adorable with Ava!
I second Ruby Jane. In fact, if it didn't sound so awful with our last name it would be on my list for #2 I like it so much.
I don't care for Hadley and I don't get all the hype. At least other 'trendy' names (Ava, Sophia, etc) are pretty. Hensley sounds like a little boy with red hair.
I don't like Hadley, and Hensley just sounds totally fake to me. If you are set on either of those names I would personally switch it to the middle name slot.
A classic-sounding name would go well with Ava, rather than a trendy-sounding name like Hadley or Hensley (and I'm just not a fan of trendy names in general).
If you want something along the lines of Ruby, maybe you could use Pearl, Violet, Flora, Hazel, Iris, Ivy, Ida, Vera, Neve, Agnes, Judith, Alice, Anna, Margo, Cora, Claire.
Ruby Faye by a mile. Do not like Hadley or Hensley at. all.
If it wasn't already the name of some one very close to me ( why we're using Ruby or Fay, not both) I would!
I am so thankful for the opinions, you pushed me back to the side of not liking Hensley, so I took it off the list. I agree that it sounds too made up and trendy. I do think Hadley is pretty.. but awfully trendy with no significance. Ruby is the no. 1 pick for me!
