That picture is convincing me I NEED baby legs. Eeeee!!!
This is absolutely true. Baby legs are the greatest thing ever - not only freaking adorable, but super practical. I feel like I never have enough Baby Legs.
I flove baby legs. I found that the ones I ordered from Etsy often fit better than the real dea. My baby love had thunder thighs, lol, and the baby legs fit her better when she got older and her legs thinned out a little bit.
Heather, your nursery is looking pretty good, if you ask me. Mine is currently sporting 5 large splatches of different shades of aqua. Good news is I finally found the right shade.
Alzi, do share your finds :-)
I think I'm going to attempt to make something like this, but it might be beyond my crafting abilities.

You totally can do this - just keep the layers of modge podge thin. It's better to do multiple thin layers than fewer thick layers. (Yes, I've attempted projects with a thick layer and it hasn't worked so well )And since Michael's has a 40% off coupon every week, you should be able to snag a canvas at a good price.
I'm trying to figure out spacing of fonts and lines on the scoreboard I'm going to paint. I sent a piece of wood home with my mom for my dad to cut to size. Hopefully it comes back soon so I can get started.
let me see if i can link to what i ordered. so far 2 decorative items, and i'm in talks with a seller to make all of the bedding/decor. time to get crackin!
we are obv doing yellow gray and white. the fabrics i am likely going to use for the rest are yellow chevron, white with gray polka dots, and maybe white with gray stripes.
oh, and obviously i'm not very crafty. i'm sure that mobile could have been made easily, but i just don't have it in me. haha
I was actually going to make a mobile exactly like that (with different colors), but Erik was having a "he's a boy, why can't we have more of a sports theme" moment.
Since I don't love over the top themes, I'm trying to incorporate sports in a less "over the top" way, so I think I'm going to try and do something similar, but with little footballs. Good thing I have some down time, because I think it's going to be time consuming.
Alzi, that mobile could be done, but you'd need the cardstock, the punches, and various other tools. By the time you bought everything, you would've spent more than you would to just buy it. And it looks really, really tedious to make.
Heather, I've never used Mod Podge or whatever before. Do I have to use it like a glue first, or can I adhere it with my ATG? (If you don't have an ATG, you've been out of paper-crafting for too long. It's just a tape runner. An awesome tape runner that really is permanent.) And then I could seal it in with the mod podge?

I agree, if you don't have the supplies, it will start adding up quickly. Scary thing is it won't cost me much in supplies. That said, I know it's going to be a tedious process - which is why I haven't started.
I've been out of paper crafting too long, because my first thought was WTF is an ATG? You just do a thin layer of modge podge first, then apply the paper, then another thing coat of Modge Podge. You have a limited time you can peel it up and re-adhere. The other thing about thin layers is if you do a thick layer you could possibly have bubbles. I have some in the subway roll that I did, and no one notices them but me, but I know they're there
