Sephora's 2013 Birthday gift

Sorry for the lack of pic, but the site is being wonky for me.

Anyhoo, this year's free gift is a Benefit set of two deluxe minis: They're Real! mascara and Watt's Up! highlighter.

I'm kinda disappointed with this year's offering. I probably won't even be able to use the mascara since I don't wear black mascara.

Boo Watts Up made my hand itch like crazy when I swatched it in store a couple weeks ago. And I don't like They're Real.

They have a guy birthday gift, too. Maybe it'll be something good like Jack Black balm? Off to look.

I actually like watts up but not a fan of their real. Sadly this still beats tr year with the sephora eyeshadow and liner.... I agree it's let down.

That was the worst. A close second was the godawful birthday cake bubble bath/ bath wash.
I'm excited for this year because I <3 black mascara.

yeah I got the shave cream that year and gave to mr. mfluder (which I don't remember having that option with the liner & e/s), so I blocked it out lol

I don't like this years gift either. MIL got the Fresh set for her bday, and gave it to me in my stocking, so I lucked out and got both. I was really hoping for another fresh one though. With my bday being at the end of the year, it just depends on when they change them out.

I was able to get the fresh set when I went to sephora on Friday. My birthday is this coming Wednesday.

This reminds me that I got an email from them a week or so ago about how they had stock in the 2012 gifts left. They were sending around coupon codes so you could get another one as a random freebie.

I just found the email. It says spend $25 and you can use the code. Not sure if it still works or not. Code: BDAY2012

That was the worst! The gift isn't usually that great IMO - this year was a pleasant surprise - but that was really bad. I agree with Cloudbee, at least it's brand name stuff now instead of store brand.
