My husband is convinced that since we live in FL we don't need a humidifier in the nursery? Is that even a thing? I have no idea. Just wanted to know what other mama's thought in the area!
Ditto, for a cool-mist humidfier. The girls have terrible winter allergies, and it just helps everyone breathe better with one than without one. Keep those nasal passages lubed up!
I haven't needed one yet but Amelia does get dried boogs and has to endure me dripping Little Noses saline in her nostrils and then suctioning it all clear. Maybe a humidifier would help with that but if just sounds like one more thing to clean so I'm not going to get one unless it really becomes a necessity. our nose cleaning ritual just coincides with bathtime and it's actually kind of fun. She gets all giggly and it's really cute. Who would have thought sucking out boogers could be fun.

We only used our cool mist humidifier the one time she had a cold and when we ran the heat this winter. I wouldn't spend a fortune on one, but it would have been nice to have around e house when she got her cold instead of having to run and buy one.
We use ours often. Every time our daughter gets the sniffles (whether it is a cold or her asthma), we break out our cool mist humidifier. She sleeps so much better when we have it on.
We also used it recently when both my husband and I had a sinus infection (and I couldn't take any effective meds being pregnant) and I slept like a baby!

We used ours while Evie had a cold. I have no idea if it helped, but I read it was good to use. We live in Chicago and ran the heater all winter. We never used it then and she seemed fine.
